Perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Santa Monica, Westwood, & Hollywood, the picturesque campus is one of the most beautiful locations in Los Angeles. Over the last 7 years LMU has added many new buildings, dorms, and athletic complexes. The newest of the additions is the Burns Recreation Complex, which houses state of the art weight training facilities, 50 meter pool, and 3 basketball courts. The on campus dorms are located very close to the lacrosse fields and have common areas that include large screen TV's and pool tables.
LMU has become a central hub for lacrosse in Southern California. Once on campus you will see why; Spacious Leavey Field is home to LMU Lions Lacrosse Team, and has also played host to all levels of lacrosse from Middle School all the way up to the US National Team. Regulation field space as well as areas set aside for individual drills make this an ideal field for lacrosse. This unique field is located on top of Drollinger Parking Structure which gives the field a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean while enjoying cool ocean breezes during the summer months. Hannon Field is also utilized in our lacrosse camps due to it's intimate configuration and well kept playing surface.
